Well what kind of launch are u looking for....if your just trying to take off and drive like normal I can help, but to burn rubber...i still need to work on that myself.

I dont think you can dump and be successful.
For an open diff don't dump the clutch at all. Do as ronman said and learn how to feather it instead. Get the rpms up around 1500 and practice taking off as quick as possible with just a little tire spin by feathering the clutch. You want a slight amount of tire spin so the engine dosen't bog. The best thing to do is get a t-lock though.
Launching a car is like trying to tell someone how to drive a stick. Not possible. It's a feel thing, like letting the clutch out when taking off. The first time you do it the engine dies the next time the car lurches the 10th time it takes off ok. Launching any stick is a matter of feathering the clutch/tires/rpm to whatever Horse power you have.
You want to feather the clutch to get a good launch, a slower release is much better than dumping it. The only thing that dumping is good for is doing a burnout. Practice makes perfect, then again after the second try when you can smell your clutch burning away you will think twice about even trying a third time lol.
