Default 3.8L performance?

I just bought a carbed 3.8 stang. Is there much I can do as far as performance upgrades?
Thinking of swapping it but would like to know my options first. Any info is appreciated.

Maybe going fuel injected? You need to give more specs on your ride.

talk to Tom Morana. Port everything, new cam, bigger valves, new carb, bore out, theres alot of things. I would suggest to switch to a split-port 3.8L (99-04)

why switch? i bet those 4eye 6ers have some potential, its just a matter of availibility of parts. i wouldnt be suprised if a lot of the stuff that these guys upgrade on their newer v6's can be adapted to the older ones since the engine size is the same. obviously you cant do any of the fuel injected mods, but if the engines are almost one in the same besides that, it shouldnt be hard.

Thanks for the input. I'll post more specs and pics soon i still havn't brought it home yet.
I have been trying to find out how difficult it would be to use a supercharger from a tbird super coupe. Does any one have any info on this?
I wasn't planning on switching to injection but its not out of the question.
Also considering a v8 swap.
