17's with a 275/40/r17 is the same size as a 15 with 215/50/r15
it wont raise ur car that much at all with bigger rims, it will look higher but its not

uhm im looking for 4 inches of lowering since the car sits 2.5 inches higher thenI want right now with stock 15's and im adding 17 inch rims so i will need additional drop to get the heightI want perhaps I will just wait tillI havetherims on and remeasure again but im sure no springs will lower you more then 3 inches??
