thats your iac motor. keeps air flowing into the engine when the tb is closed.

yea, you can actually delete it and just have a tune set to try to keep the rpms up but from what justin said your idle might jump around a lot and itwouldtn work real great. so i would keep it.

thanks guys, so no one can really get to it just removing the air intake. the only think i thought about was that crows foot but i dunno, i might end up doin sumthin else, i guess if i get a tuner i will jst cut it and not worry about it

Damn. Im haf way through my headers. I got the driver side done, but tomorow is gonna be the passenger. How the hellf do I get to that stupid thing. Is there another way?

the first time i took it off i just used a wrench w/ a small pipe on the end. it takes some work but you can get it. ive also heard get some pb plaster and put it on there and let it sit for a while. should help. and like i was sayn v6stang, you dont have to take it off to move the valve.

a general egr ? here
yesterday i put it all back on my car since i couldnt get the copper tubing off and i left the electrical connections off and my car seemed to run fine, that should be about the same as the delete shouldnt it??

yea, it should be. did you dirve it around some? im sure it will probably be fine but i would think after a little bit of time it would throw the code.

yea it did finally throw the code
do u know if the electrical connection on the drivers side of the motor on top of the fuel rail goes to the egr???
it goes into the main wiring harness but it also connects with the egr harnesses???
