Default Removing Spring Isolators

Has anyone removed their stock front spring isolators?
I've heard ofa few people doing this for a little extra drop... how much will this screw up my handling?
I've got Roush V6 lowering springs with stock shocks btw

You can also run into trouble removing them from the rear because the spring is more prone to travle and could come off.

I have a worn isolator in the rear and my spring came half off under a hard launch. I cought it before it came all the way off.

The front springs are under so much pressure that they stay in place fine.

Best of luck.
