summary of it...
ssm cost is right at 4000
rpmmustangs cost is about 3700 but its more flexable, probably a litlte more
both will have other odds and ends that will be needed
so all in all your gonna be looking at 4000+ no matter what.

4.2 Stroker: New steel 4.2 crank, Wiseco forged pistons , rings , and pins:
that is all that comes with it
if your thinking about a power pack, that only comes with heads, intakes, and cam. it doesnt come with the crank or anything to make your 3.8 a 4.2

In short, to run 11PSI you need the following:
11 PSI Procharger S/C. Reason I piced procharger is because they're safer and more efficient at higher boost than Vortec, but Vortec is still a good cheaper route.
Forged Internals. Rather it be just stock 3.8L internals or a stroker, you'll need them.
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. If the S/C doesn't come with one you'll need it.
255lb hr fuel pump. Again, if the S/C doesn't have it you'll need it.
42lb or maybe even 60lb injectors. Again, if the S/C doesn't have it you'll need them.
Dual Exhaust. This is needed for obvious reason.
A good dyno tune. This is needed to make sure everthing is running properly and will insure your engine's longevity and performance.
Limited slip differential. No point in having all this power with an open differential as you won't be able to put it safely to the ground.
This is all that's needed, but other good supporting mods would be a ported/polished intake and heads, as well as a cam swap, but do all that and your gas bill is gonna suck.

aight well could i upgrade the crank shaft, pistons, rings, pins and lox without upgrading the heads, upper and lower intake manifold, and cam shaft; and run a11psi boost?if sohow long do u think it would take a mechanic shop to install a 4.3 long rod stroker? or if i had to do it all at the same time how long do you think that would take?
