Now we all know cool air is dencer and there fore you can fit more of it in your engine and get more power. Thats why people use intercoolers and N2O. What If someone found a way to make a little by pass in theyre AC system so that when a dial is turned theAC is cut off from the inside of the carthe cold airgets fed in to the intake instead...

Would that little bit of cool air make enough of a difference to do anything?

Just a late night randome thought...

Already been done, by Ford. It nets about 50hp in the 05 Lightning Concept and is only good for a short burst.

The other problem is that it means you have to turn on your a/c which leaves water all over the ground from condensation, which is not allowed at pretty much every track.

One problem with it is the AC has to be running to make the cold air but with the AC on you are loosing more power than the extra cold air is making. Like Ryan said, it's only for short burst because of this.
