I was driving the other day and i notice a smell coming from my A/C vents ...smells almost like gas but if i turn the controls to vent the smell goes away ...the olny thing i can think beside a gas leak is maybe the A/C is dripping on the header ..i check everywhere for gas leak i can seem to find any ...just wonder has anyone else this problem

 

The only thing that could drip on the header from the A/C is condensation (water). I would check the fuel lines and gas tank filler hose real well for any leaks.

 

That wouldn't smell like gas though.
