3.8 things
Thinking of getting a 3.8 for better mpg going to school soon and need better mpg.
What years would a super coupe supercharger work for?
How much poewr would it give me?
Is it hard to do? and how much boost can it put out?
Thanks

RE: 3.8 things
The gas mileage on the 3.8 is a hair better than a 4.6. Don't get a v6 for gas mileage, get it for lower insurance.
The supercoupe swap will work on 94-98 3.8's. I think the gains will put you a little above a stock split port 3.8. Those sn-95 motors are turds[:'(].

The supercoupe swap will only work on 94-98 stangs cause there singleport 3.8's I would get a 96-98 that way you wont have to worry about the head gasket problems with the 94-95's and with a supercoupe supercharger you should be putting decent hp like 220 or so but you will gain in the tq department ive heard people pushing almost 300rwtq with this setup.

The M-90 will make a nice addition but you really need to up the boost to 9 PSI, or even 11 to get any serrious gains out of it on an otherwise stock single port engine. Best thing to do would be to get the following:
M-90 SC from a supercoupe, most complete kit you can find
36lb fuel injectors
155lb hr fuel pump
80 or 90mm MAF set to the injectors
9 psi or 11 psi pulley
Get dual exhaust on the car to get rid of some unwanted back pressure after the mod
Then do the following:
make the necessary modifications to the fuel system so that the M-90 fits
port/polish the lower intake and the M-90 for better/cleaner air flow
Now depending on what boost you run you'll sit anywhere from 180rwhp-mid 200s and unless you're constantly romping on the S/C you'll get nearly stock MPG.
