Default QUICK QUESTION!!!

I posted this on general tech and no reponse. Can anyone help?

I just went to the mechanic. Everything was fine except a small transmission leak. They said not worry about it until the next 1-2 years. Can someone tell me if i should worry. (i would hate to have to replace the transmission if it could of been a quick fix) its a 2000 v6 auto. THANKS

Just keep an eye on the level, and you'll be fine. I'd carry a quart just in case you ever need it.

Leaking from where? Are all the pan bolts tight?

+1 all depends on where it's leaking and how much is leaking. If it's just the occasional drip, nothing to really worry about right now, but if it's more than that I'd be getting it fixed. A simple gasket cost a lot less than a new tranny.
