ORIGINAL: 94Blk5.0

Personally: 2.5 inch chrome slash cut tips look good on a car without bumper cutouts. It keeps everthing in proportion.
yeah, I found a meineke coupon that was good for free chrome tips with an exhaust purchase, so I'll probably do that. Of course, it will be my luck it expires by the time I"m ready to install it.

Just make sure they are going to look good(12 inches long at least). The ones where you can see the beginning of the tips don't look very good, of course, in my opinion.

so, after thinking, I've decided I'm gonna go out on a limb here and go with the Super 44's (can't find a vid of them on a sixxer, but they've got a nice deep tone on the GT's and other cars, so it can't be bad) with 2.5" for all piping and divorced midpipes.

should be a fairly unique setup, especially with super 44's as I couldn't find any vids of V6's with them.

lol, get this. I just went to Midas this afternoon to see howmuch it would cost to get an exhaust done if I bring in my own mufflers. He said its gonne be like 350 bucks for some chrome tips (pfft, no way in hell), and that the biggest size piping he can put on my car is a 2" because thats the biggest that will fit. Yeah, ****ing, right. And he said the total would be about 900 bucks. So I was like "can't you just mandrel bend some pipes and toss em on there?" and he was like "now listen here son. there ain't a shop here in Dallas that will mandrel bend pipes, and if they tell you that, they're lyin because the cheap ones cost around $50k bucks, so no one has them"

so, according to this guy, tips are gonna cost me 300 bucks, the biggest I can go is 2" pipes, flowmaster 40's WONT fit under my car, and theres not a single shop in the DFW area with a mandrel.

I'm callin BS, and never goin to Midas again. He must think I'm some stupid hick teenager that wants duals on his V6 but knows absolutely nothing about cars. WRONG!
