Second Gear grinds

My car seems to have issues shifting into second gear unless I baby shift it, it takes like 5 seconds to get into second gear without grinding is this a syncro issue is there a cheap way to fix this issue?

your clutch might be going south or the throwout bearing. if not then the trans needs rebuilt
