I have had a 40 and now a 44 on my stang(4.0).The 44 wins hands down and is just a slightly different design than the 40.Less drone for sure, and it got even better with headers.

The super 40's is right in the middle, not too loud and not too soft. Of course the longtubes help a lot also...

Nope I ment it the way I said it. The 4.0 is quiet, and for the most part drones -

Force proseries mufflers are the same basically and cost 1/2 the price.

flowcrapper 44's are nothing more than super 40's with a different name. the internals are the same. it's a chambered muffler so ther will be no big difference.

save your money and get Force proseries mufflers from summit racing or jegs
force part#'s
FRC-5201 2.25" from summit
FRC-5202 2.5"

395-5201 2.25" from jegs
395-5202 2.5"
