I have a 1998 mustang V6 and every now and then when I turn the key on the theft light blinks, but the car keeps running. I have tried three different keys and it does the same thing. So I usually have to turn the car off and turn it back on in order for the light to stop blinking, or just let it blink till it turns off. Does anyone know anything about this.

The theft light is for your PATS system, which i didn't think 98 v6's had, I believe it's only the GT's. It won't hurt anything, and if it really bothers you then take out your cluster and remove the bulb.
