Default Power Driver Seat

I've got a question, the other day my power driver's seat partially died. It still goes forwards and backwards just fine, but it wont raise or lower. When I move the switch, I can feel the motor, and hear it, but the seat doesn't move, it just vibrates the seat. I looked, and there's nothing under the seat, and so I wanted to get some opinoins on what it might be before I pull the seat out. If I do need to pull the seat out, how long does that take?

just pull the seat outa the car. its only held on by 4 bolts. they are easy to get to and it wont take you much time at all. it will be much easier to figure out whats wrong with it when its off the car.

alright, well I pulled the seat off, and looked at the underside. The motor appears to be fine. The motor spins, and I can one side of the motor spinning, theres a bolt or something, but the otherside, where all the lifting does, isn't moving. The motor buzzes, just doesn't move anything.

I couldn't figure anything out after looking at it for about 10 minutes, and its dark outside, so I figured I would just post pics and see what you guys think. Pics coming in just a moment after uploading.

This is the first time I see underneath that seat. For the description, if there is motor movement, vibration but no seat movement, sounds like a broken gear. Now where is the motor driving system? I'd have to get my hands on it.

4th pic, lower motor.

The part with the yellow grease on it is the drive part. I dunno if that grease is supposed to be there, or maybe somehow the thing like imploded.

Anybody have any idea? I'd rather not take it to a ford dealership. If I do, I'll just ask them what's wrong, and then say "I don't have the money to pay for it right now, but I'll come back when I get my paycheck"

Troy Aikman Ford has gouged me enough for OEM parts anyways...
