Default looking to replace cam

im going to be starting on some performance stuff now and would like to here from people with switched cams. i have a buddy that said i can get one that will alow up to 9000 rpms but i also want the camed sound when at idle.

i dont know about 9k rpms. your heads would have to be amazing. that and your not going to be making any power in that high of the rpm range. call ssm and ask them what type of cam you would need for your car. they will give you your options.

What, specifically, are you looking for from people with a new cam? I'd try and answer your questions, but you didn't really ask one

Oh, and yeah, 9000rpm, good luck putting together a rotating assembly and valvtrain that will handle that... for less than $10,000.

Opinion: Great overall mod for sound (see vid) and power (I picked up ~50whp w/ just Heads/Cam... no intakes, LT's, etc)

like Blaine, did contact Matt Neuharth at www.delkperformance.com and he will custom spec you out a custom Billet comp cam for about the same price as an off the shelf Comp cam.
