ok so this is new and the last time my car did this it was the alternator going bad but that was a month ago and its new so i don't think that would be the prob. so anybody know of some other reason it only does it when i accelarate.

 

it might just be the cable being a little bit loose, my friend had a similar problem in his car and it turned out his ebrake cable was just a tad loose. he tightened it and all was good.

Check your brake fluid level. If it senses its low the brake light comes on.

 

Top off your brake fluid to the max. line, should take care of it.
