****ing weird,rip it off. Someone must of done some work on the exhaust or something. Looks like counterbalance weight rubber cover. Its kinda hard to explain but GTs have two balanced weights on each pipe so it evens out the rattle in the pypes but V6 has one so when you go true duals if not welded right it will shake afterwards because V6 only comes with one counter weight and its located on the passenger side behind the catalyc converter.Thats what it appears to me.

thats what i thought it was at first but it looks nothing like the one on my car. i dunno, that thing is weird.

That is the counter balance that is supposed to be up higher in between the floor of the car and the y pipe. Looks like the clamp that holds it on just came loose and it spun aropund. Easy fix.
