ok so i have a 2000 v6er. right now i have cat back flow pro exhaust system. i was wondering would it make a sound difference if i just took out the pre cats or would i have to remove all four to make a difference? thanks

if you are going to remove any cats remove the rear 2 they are for california emmissions only and are not monitered by the ecu so if removed car will still run fine the first 2 are to meet federal and is monitered by the ecu and will throw a code if they are removed and you will need mil eliminators or a sct to remove the code and get it running normal again

I agree, remove the rear cats. They are bigger and muffle the sound more anyway. I removed mine and it sounds a lot better but not it's so loud to be annoying.

i live in nebraska so emissions really arent a problem around here.
