you may have a problem passing emissions putting a carb'd engine in also...thats after you spend thousands of dollars making your v6 able to handle the bigger motor

$8K on the motor.
$1K to finish it all off to get it running.
$1k in body work to make it fit.
$1K in suspension and brakes.
$2K in tranny set up.
$2K in rear end upgrades.
$1K in misc stuff that you don't think of.

$16K into a 600 hp motor that won't be street able due to a combination of things ranging from EPA regulations to the normal issues of high hp cars on the street.

Or for $3K, you can supercharge your V6 and still have more than you'll need. If that is not enough, spend $6K on a built V6 crate motor and you'll have $9K into your car and make more than the big block crate motor.

I did the math, to completely build up for the M112 swap I want to do, $14k is what my numbers came to, and that's without sending the eaton off to steigmier to get all the cool stuff done. That's pretty much everything necessary for good reliable power with the 4.3, M112, built tranny, and built rearend, along with all the other necessary things required to have on the car for that kind of power. It'll hopefully reach the 600hp mark, but I guess we'll only know when it's finished.

I think if that engine will hold the 20psi, then it might make it. I'll honestly be happy in the 450-550 range.

And I'll be able to run the tag "World's 1st M112 powered 4.3L V6 Mustang"

that motor is going to be so wide that you would probally have to redo the whole fornt end and relocate the struts just to fit it in then you will have to buy new susspension to take the extra load then new rearend and tranny along with the ECM and bigger fuel pump possable firewall modsso ide say about 15000 if you plan on doing it your self and if not then kiss the next 50 years of your life good buy because thats how long it will take to pay that off if a shop dose it. or just go get a supercharger
and some nitiros and some interneals spend 5 grand and get 625rather than15 grand

youd prob. have to upgrade suspension, drivetrain, rearend, tranny, wireharness ( if its carbed then not as much of a prob.), motor mounts, wheels, tires. it will probally fit. is your motor blown or somthin? because if not you could buy a motor blown new edge and work on that with that kind of motor. i wouldnt sc the v6 if i had the option of buying that kind of motor, ya v6 this and that whatever but do it man, if the car can sit out for a while do it, it really wouldnt be to much diffrent than dropping a 4.6 in it, minus a new tranny, and lots of ppl do rearend swaps. youd be impressed if you had a sc v6, you would be fucin amazed with the v8/

Why would he be amazed with a 4.6
and just impressed with an s/c v6?

You have that backward.
He would be impressed with a 4.6 but amazed with a s/c v6
