CAI Problems
Well actually there are bad things too, with some it just makes the intake shorter and it sucks in warm air from the engine, Some go places where they will suck in water easily(Hot-Pipes), Some cheap ones the chrome will peel easy and get sucked into engine. Some, K&N? might throw a code
CAI are almost usless i think, instead of making it the 1st mod, i would do that twards the end. A new intake is like what $189 and you gain.... 2hp? Yes when you get alot more power you will need a larger intake, thats when it is usefull. Save the money for somthin else IMO

yep. if u do it piece by piece, minor bolt on by bolt on, youll be broke, and pushing maybe 15-20 hp over stock with a pulley, an intake, and a full exhaust. tapping into the motor is the best route for serious power. think about working from the inside out. trust me, coming from a guy who did it the other way, you wanna do it right the first time. im still saving cash for my build..iuts a slow process, but i just keep dreaming of my finished product.
