yep. if u do it piece by piece, minor bolt on by bolt on, youll be broke, and pushing maybe 15-20 hp over stock with a pulley, an intake, and a full exhaust. tapping into the motor is the best route for serious power. think about working from the inside out. trust me, coming from a guy who did it the other way, you wanna do it right the first time. im still saving cash for my build..iuts a slow process, but i just keep dreaming of my finished product.
HAHAHA YOU ARE FUNNY!!!, Or a 16yo.... Key word there is finished... You own a Mustang!! You will never be finished. You can win every car show and you will never be done with your car.
um, nah, Im 29, and a 400whp street car this summer being built by my local carolina mustang affialiated shop, re-sprayed by beryl road auto and collision, then having car tunes put in some in car e., and my car will be done. im halfway to the 10-12k Im expecting to spend on my stroked, procharged 4.2 with suspension and tranny upgrade, and will have the rest of the extra cash, providing my local business continues to do well, by late may.

yes, ill be done with my car. i dont need more than 400 whp, nor any extra "show mods:...a chin spoiler, new wheels and tires, and a fresh coat of paint, and a nice stereo, im good. ill be able to do that with what is left of my 12k.

what are you talking about never being down with your mustang? in the summer im puttin on a Roush Stage 2 body kit, 18" Cobra R's.. chrome or black chrome i dont know which would pop more, GT hood, duals and double limo tint on back and small side windows and 35% tint on the driver and passenger windows and ill be done with my car.
You say that, but when all that is installed you will look at it, and want more...

yeah, either do a splitport swap, or swap a supercoupe motor into it.

Price varies for each.

Depending on the mileage of your V6. The split-port kit from super six motorsports is $800, it would cost more if you took it to a shop and had them do the install. If you have higher miles on your V6 then I would just look at doing the whole split-port engine swap.

I would also say do the entire M90 engine swap if you have higher miles. The kits for the M90's vary but I have seen them from 400-800 dollars. That is just for the supercharger and piping and assorted other items.

You do havea 94-98 V6 don't you? Those only work on the 94-98 models.

I would probably just look for either a split-port engine with lower miles or an M90 engine with lower miles. You could still do either of the swaps but 'I' wouldn't recommend adding a supercharger to your car with those miles on it. The split-port really won't affect it all that much besides adding power.

The reason I would do an engine swap is because it will be roughly the same amount of money to do the split-port swap or the split-port engine swapif you are paying someone to do the install. Think about it, the same amount of money for the same amount of power with lower miles.
