Default headlight problem

ok so i have a 2000 silver mustang. i have the stock black looking headlights. i have many small rock nics in them which was from the previous owner of course. i was wondering if it would be smart taking like wet sandpaper and try to sand them off.it doesnt sound smart to me. i really dont feel like spending 200 dollars on a new pair of lights? have any suggestions

id buy a nice set of aftermarket projectors. or, if u want the stock look, start shopping around online. if you sand them down, you are gonna scratch them, and they will not look good. save for the upgrade, and get a nice set of aftermarket projectors, you wont be disappointed.

lol, i think he means like yours. but i dunno, maybe his a limited edition.

but seriosuly, if the nicks are small, i wouldnt worry about it so much. you maybe able to buff em out a bit to where u dont notice them too much, and youll save cash..no one but you would probably notice anyways. but dont sand them with sandpaper.

I bought projectors for my 98, they look nice but I'm not too pleased with the performance.

I bought stock replacements online. I am very pleased. It was an e-bay vendor with a very high 98-100% feedback rating. (And don't order from any e-bay seller with more than one red-negative feedback)

yeah, ive heard they arent too "bright" most of the time...a good combo is a quality set of poroectors and an hid conversion. they never tell ya that in the adds though....usually "hey, buy these bluish white bulbs and your car will look TITE! kinda thing".
