i would think it would be harder on a V6 to get caught since they are so quite to begin but correct me if i am wrong a v8 would sound damn loud with out cats

If you have to have emissions testing then they will catch you. If you don't have to have emissions testing then they probably will not catch you.

if you have trueduel exhaust (no i cant spell) where they dont cross over at all couldnt you get away with taking your cats off being that they only test one pipe and in theory would only be getting 3 cylinders worth of exhaust? Just a thought...

thats what i thought but see what he didn't know is that his car has four cats like mine and he thought he had takin them off but he still has two the ones next to the transmission also isn't four alot i mean i have a friend with a jeep w/ a 4.0 and he has only one cat.
