...for my 98 6er. already had the k&n filter and silencer removed, but eh, i wanted the bling factor.
had some extra dough, and i just ordered an intake for my gf for her cougar for her bday, and had intake envy, so i treated myself to one as well.
just wanted to know if there are any tricky install tips anyone would like to share? im pretty savvy...not a gear head, but i can usually take things apart and put em back together (er, most of the time) pretty well, so i should be good. no harm in asking advice tho.
thanks in advance.

its easy...theres nothin to it....jus read the instructions lol....i've never been able to get the little screen thats on the MAF sensor to go back on it dont say nething on it in the instructions so i through mine away.
If you have a fenderwell CAI then you are going to hate putting the filter on after the tube is through, it really sucks for "Big Meaty Clawed" people like me.
Get under the front fender/bumper of your car and look up by the bumper and you should be able to get your hand up there and eventually wiggle it on, then tighten. It sux

I got the cai from americanmuscle years ago and mine goes into the fender. It's not really that hard to install. I didn't know crap about the mustang when I did mine. It took about an hour or so because I had to do some modifications to the cai. They didn't send the right size rubbers with it(wow, that didn't sound good) but anyway, when I go to clean my filter, I just take it out, the whole cai and then take the filter off. It doesn't take 3 mins. to take it out. And I'm sorry, NeoTokyo about your "big meaty clawness". I have "little slave shop worker" hands. Haha.
