Default Hood Question

I Can Install A Gt Hood Scoop On My Stock 99 V6 Hood Right? I Just have To Drill Holes Or 3mm double side tape it?

please let me know!

Please don't use double sided tape.... yes you COULD drill it but i wouldn't recommend it. If you mess up... there goes your hood.

yes drill holes, it will be fine. if you did happen to mess up it couldnt be THAT far off so when you drilled new holes the scoop would cover it anyway. its very easy. dont worry about messin up really. just take your time.

I've heard stories of scoops flying off when double sided tape was used instead of bolts. Looking back on it, I bolted mine on by drilling some number of holes(there is a template for it - maybe like 8-10) and it was a pain in the ***. It is definitely doable and will look great if you do it right. If I had to do it again, I'd just try and trade hoods with someone.

I also have a hood question. I want to get a carbon fiber hood. my question for the windshield fluid, would the carbon fiber impeed them, or would i have to drill holes for them ala hood pins?
