File fitting rings only takes about an hour or so, I've done it a few times. If you've done it enough it's really not all too hard. Hell pit crews do it in no time at all for dragsters, but they also use a ton of guys with easy to tear down engines. I think it's something that can be done from start to finish in a few days if the timing is right, and I mean a complete rebuild, less boring, decking, and P&P.

And what makes you think I'm "normal," I'm building a v6 drag car, what normal person does that?
