Default ANOTHER ENGINE?????//

ok is there a more powerful engine, more powerful than a 3.8 butless than a v8 because i dont want to swap everything out, that i could buy offline or something that would drop in my cardirectly without having to swap everything and buy new upgrades for the new engine?? like a 4.2 or something like that that would just go directly in without a bunch of work that has to be done?? im not sure so any ideas??

You could also just tear your engine down and slap in a 4.2 crank. If you have the right help it's not a big job at all, shouldn't have your car down more than 2 days.

A ported intake will help along with some heads

I would look into buying a junkyard 01+ 3.8L to put the4.2L crank into. That way you have the correct oil pan. The engine would be out of the car so you could do the crank swap relatively easily and completely clean the motor out while you were at it. Also you could do some light port/polishing on the intakes yourself and build the engine up while it is sitting out of the car.
