Default V6 Turbo?

I just finished paying off my 98 V6. So now its time to set about making it faster.
I recently read that The 89-95 Thunderbird and the 89-90 Cougars had a Turbo 3.8 V6 and it seem to be the same engine, an Essex 3.8...could the relevant turbocharger parts be installed on my Mustang? What would be involved?

I didn't know about a turbocharged version of the old T-birds, but they did have a supercharged version, used the M90 if I'm not mistaken. That swap can, and has been done numerous times.

Old T-birds came 2.3L turbo 4 banger or SC 3.8L V6. Mustang turbos were 2.3L SVO and limited run Gt 350s in he mid 80s.

A turbo 3.8L Mustang can be done.
