timing belt question

Default timing belt question

do i have a round or square sprocket? i have an 89 4cyl efi.... can someone jump onto racerwalsh.com and tell me which one and what cam gears i should get?

checked my sevice manual, looks like youve got a round cranshaft sprocket from this picture

thanks alot, deffinatley helps altho i feel im about to for out major money... i also need new brakes and rotors, or wheel bearings... i have a squeaking sound from my letft front wheel that gets louder and faster when i speed up and slows down when i go to stop

I can't tell from that picture if the teeth are round or square...Check your belt to see what they are.

If you have other mech. problems, I'd take care of that stuff first before getting into adj. camshaft sprockets and whatnot.

This sounds like the wheel bearings. You maybe able to get away with just repacking the bearings. I can tell you how to do it if you don't know already, you just need basic tools so it can be done at home.

Is it a squeaking sound or a squeeling sound, LOL. Squeeling could just be the sensor tab on the brake pads telling you the pads are worn.

its a sqeaking sound.... i checked the breaks out and they were still ok.... my rotors are kinda warped tho
