i just bought a set of used blacked out fog light for 35 with the brackets and all my car is prewired already for them my question is would i need to buy the switch or should they jusy turn on when my headlights come on or is there some extra wiring needed done to make them work

 

Depends on how you want them to come on. You can wire it to come on with the parking lights or headlights, or you can wire it to run off of a switch. If you want it to run off the switch VMP sells a kit that includes everything you need. If you just want to wire them in with your other lights, use some wire splices or solder them in with the power and ground from the lights you want it to come on with.

 

You can wire them any way you like but personally I would buy the switch and wire them so they can work with your parking lights.

 

Or, you can save the money that you'd pay on the switch and just wire it directly in to your parking lights If you bought the lights you might as well use them

 

ya ok i mean they have the clips there already there to plug in i just didnt know if there was more wiring needed
