door lock issue
I have a new issue with my 2000 v6 mustang and the door locks..
the behavior is the same on both sides
lately when I go to unlock/lock the doors...the door locks will go halfway up and then go back down....same thing happens with locking as well
you CAN hear the relay clicking when you do this...
so far if the car is DRIVING ...the problem does not occur...
so I'm thinking there is some sort of electrical issue...maybe not enough juice going to the locks?
what do ya'll think?

yea sounds like a eletrical issue, hmm do you have the engine running while its parked or just the car running on the battery when you try to use the locks/unlock?
i had a similar prob on my grand dam.

You all have it easy, my power locks don't work at all and my driver's side key hole is nasty inside so my key won't work in the driver's side. So there for I have to go through the passengers side to unlock my drivers door. SO usually I don't lock my door just the passenger side.

to the op, one of the actuators could be bad, that can cause both doors to not work because the bad actuator takes a lot of power to try to work and the other door doesnt get enough because the bad one is stealing it.
