i was running out my gears (racing(wellsort of)
and i went to shift to 3rd and it wouldnt go in i had my clutch in
and i wouldnt go in i tried 4 and i wouldnt either
it was so scary cause i smelt burning

What do you mean running out your gears?
And burning is of course not a good thing.

Smoked clutch from improper use.

Edit: By improper use I mean it was getting too hot and not engaging all the way, leading to even more heat.

umm kinda heard something but not really a grinding of gears
it wouldnt go in i never let the clutch out
so i dont know whats up

do you guys think i need a new one its still the original from factorry and its got 123000 miles on it

Yup, I'd say you smoked the clutch for sure. A new clutch installed will run you about 500 bucks from a shop, or spend 150-200 on a nice clutch kit and do it yourself. GL

i was told a grand or 2 to fix it
and what about snyconizers is that a possibility
any suggestions about which clutch to get

ahh the wonderful smell of burnt beans aka hotclutch FTW jj

well id say if you dont mind the weight go with a spec clutch st2 maybe? but they are a bit heavier price isnt too bad and i do believe the are tough

Sounds like you just blew your synchros, just like everything else with a T-5!
