I got woken up at 5 am this morning by my girlfriend getting ready for work and couldnt go back to sleep, so i gigured what the hell Ill go grab my tools and install my Steeda tri-ax, well there wasnt any stores open at 5 am and I didnt have and gasket maker to put on where the short throw plate and tranny meet. So my questions are could this damage anything by not putting the gasket maker on?

 

im not sure, but i would feel safer having it there

if you already put it on, just drive up to the store today and get some, and go put it on

 

Yeah thats what i was thinkin, its on already but I got my 1st football game of the season today so ill have to do it tomorrow hopefully its only a few bucks im broke!

 

I would def put it on there...I just installed my steeda tri ax today and you def want to have it on there so no dirt or particles get into your tranny oil and also so the tranny oil doesnt leak

 

I just put RTV on mine, works great, just takes some care not to get it inside the opening.

 

It should be fine but expect there to be more noise than before.
