What is the advantage of getting new gears. I want to get a t loc and I was wondering if I might as well get some gears while I'm at it...

I just don't know too much about the gears and everything I would need, and the advantages of them.

 

Depending on which gears you get they'll increase ur low end acceleration...
But they take away from ur top speed...
I think it's a pretty fair trade though cause how many times do you really top out ur car?
I would suggest 3.73's for a manual...
Or 4.10s for an auto...
