i have a 95 mustang and my driver side window decided to not work anymore. i seriously dont know wats wrong.took the panel off the door and when i did two bolts fell down.i put the bolts in were it looked likethey might go but it did nothing and theres a box on the panel that clicks, when i try to make the window go up and down. wat do u guys think broke.

is your track in place? Are there nuts inside the door? is the motor working?

 

im not the most mechanical person, so i realy couldnt tell you.im guessing the motor blew. it was working perfectly until i got home today

 

Then I'd say have someone look at it. It's tough to tell you what's wrong when you aren't sure of the things that aren't working.

 

I need to do a write up on this, but I have no camera so it would be kinda useless (My bro has one maybe i'll borrow it one of these days). Anyway, I've rebuilt quite a few window motors and it's pretty easy. You can find the bushings on ebay or search locally. If you aren't to savvy at messing with stuff in general, I would just replace the motor and call it a day. It's 3 bolts and unplug the harness, I've done one on my time, in less than 30 mins, and thats foolin' with the radio, getting a drink, eating lunch, etc... The worst part of the rebuild is actually putting the little C clip back on, but once you know how, it's simple. GL
