I just had the alarm taken off so now im going to buy a factory keyfob. I know the book tell how but has anyone done it? Is it easily done... and do you no of any web sites that sell them besides ebay... i want to buy a new one... Its a 2000

 

It's simple you just turn the key 8 times then hit a button on the remote and you're done. I bought a new one on Ebay and it has worked out great for me. Not sure of a better place to get one besides the stealership.

 

Got minefor an 07 offe bay for about 8.00 plus 5.00 shipping OEM product.

Don't laugh too hard. Remember, I'm very new to attempting to do any type of mods with a vehicle... but what is a keyfob?

 

Lol...its the remote.. to unlock, lock, open the trunk, and set off the alarm....

 

Anyone got a copy of those instructions from mustangmike? My remote buttons are so bad they don't work anymore and I could deffinately use a new keyfob.

 

ahhh. Well, at least I gave someone a good laugh!
