no oil pressure

if a guage shows "zero" then usually its a disconnected wire or bad sending unit, if a guage is pegged out its usually bad guage, right? my oil pressure is showing nothing

Yeah, if you have no oil pressure, your lifters will start clacking at you fairly loud. If your motor is running fine, it's probably the gauge. Hopefully, the oil pump isn't going, I would say it's probably not the oil pump, but I wouldn't rule it out just yet without some troubleshooting. GL

I know i have oil pressure!! Yes, the car is running, ha ha. So... to answer the question? more than likely sending unit or guage?
