On my 2.3L Mustang when I try to put it in first gear I have to play with it before it goes. It also does it when I go in reverse because I have to release the clutch a little before it goes in gear sometimes. I was wondering if anyone can help tell me what the problem could be?

 

you need a cable kit and /or clutch fork or shifter
