Default intercooler mounting

what is the best way to mount the intercooler on a 2000 v6 mustang? i bought 1 that measures 27"x6"x2.5"

judging from your CD link you plan turbos, but you have to elaborate for people to help you.

i am in the process of putting together a turbo setup for my mustang and looking to get as much info as possible before i put it all on. I am looking to mount it directy behind the front bummper but don't know were the brakets should be ran.

I would think to run it right behind the fog light hole, or if you have foglights, at the bottom in the middle of the bumper where those slates are...but thats just me??

Thinking about it, if you keep the stock bumper an intercooler isn't going to do much good seeing as you're barely going to get any airflow to it no matter where it goes. =(

i am going to be getting the cobra front bumper in the near future. It really is not that tall of an intercooler anyway so im not to worried about it for now.

What kind of intercooler is it?

Normally they are mounted in the center or a tad off center to the right.
