Default Lookin for some quick input

hey, I was hoping to get some feedback on a question about exhaust. I went over to listen to some soundclips of the v6's and they sounded pretty good, and it appeared that the best sounding was a 97 and it looked like with just a flowmaster 40 series. I've been hesitating on buying one, because im not sure if just putting on the 40 series will make it sound more like a gay civic, and if i will need a whole system. I do have aftermarket headers on however, so ewhatever you could help me out with would be great, thanks.

*add - I've got a 97 non gt model. Don't know if thats any help though

If you want it to sound like an 8 put the 40 series flowmasters, but without the tailpipes instead
use turndowns.

Yes I did a lot of business with Maximum Motorsports. Go directly through them they are great.
Check them out at maximummotorsports.com.
Good Luck,

I looked around some, and flowmaster says it doesnt recommend the turndowns for some reason. How much of a difference in the sound do they put on with the 40 series installed. like what will the turndowns compare to as a 40 series with just the tailpipes?

I had the 40 series flowmaster on my 86 and they were quite loud, but I didn't have tailpipes. So it would be a little quieter with the tailpipes on.
