Replacement keys
I lost my keys at the beach the other day. After getting home I tried to use my spare but it didn't start the car. I guess our keys have a chip in them to prevent theft. Bottom line is my cheap spare wouldn't work so I HAD to go to ford because they are the only ones who can make new keys. It cost me $140.00 for only two keys to be made. Luckily I had free towing to take the car there.
Point being.... If any of you only have ONE key left, go and get a spare made before you loose it. It's $20 at ford for another key with a chip as long as you have the original. But if you loose your keys and have nothing to copy then they have to program it and all kinds of BS. Don't be a dumb *** like me and waste 140 bucks!!!!

The only thing you can do is get ford to do it. I recommend getting 3 keys done and 3 remotes. That way if you lose one set, then it takes 2 programmed ones to replace it, so you won't have to go to the dealer again.
