Ok so after I found out I had a misfire in cyl #2 ....I replaced my coil pack. That smoothed the motor out a little bit. Then just today I changed the plugs from Autolite to Bosch Platinums. That didn't smooth it out any. What else could I do and check to smooth the engine out more?

 

Replace your plug wires. That should help/fix it. Stay away from Bosch. Although you put new ones in there recently, I would put Autolite, Motorcraft, Denso, or NGK plugs in there. Bosch blows.

A can of Seafoam could help you out a little bit too.

 

yeh i had bosch plat +2's in there and i hated them just needed to get osme in there, next day went and got autolites and omg what a difference that was

 

yeah man stay away from bosch completely. Havent heard anything good come from them.

 

DAMN!!!! I wish I would have know b4 I bought the damn things. I was thinking about going back to get Motorcraft plugs and slapping those in. The wires are new. I replaced those back in Jan. The autolites didn't seem any better.

 

how much are the Autolite spark plugs and are there any like specific kinds we are suppose to get?
