Default Alternator

I have a 2003 v6, i've had to replace the alternator several timesmost likely because of my sound system. I know I need to get a capacitor.. I last replaced my alternator a few weeks ago, the car hadn't been running for a whole day. When I put it in and started my car up the alternator was too hot to touch after less than 5 minutes. Can someone tell me what the correct size should be? Because something doesn't seem right about this one.

Thanks

Default RE: Alternator

There are 200amp alts available. The one you most likely need is a 130amp. Advanced has them, the Motorcraft ones are the best thing to go with.
