what tune do you use?

RE: what tune do you use?
i ran 93 performance from the livewire, with just a CAI and duals.
it was noticeably faster, and more responsive, best improvement is the shifting (automatic).
it had enough firmness to chirp 1st and 2nd, if you are into that.
livewire is not worth the full price for our particular car, if you have barely any mods, xcals i assume are better price choice. the extra features, like the shift light, is too small and the unit is hideous, too ugly to mount visibly in the car.
i did not dyno or track the car before or after, but was nice to be able to go from regular fuel economy to 93 performance depending on if joyriding or filling up for a long trip. fuel economy seems to just hamper the RPM jump if you stomp on the gas. it will gradually rise...

well, I have had a little time to test my tuner out:
I have definitely increased in performance. not necessarily that much, but throttle response feels better. it is hard to tell when you have a subtle performance increase (listed 20HP) to actually feel the added power.
A good thing, is that I have gained a little gas mileage. I switched to 93 octane and my first tank with the livewire gave me 310 miles with 1.2 gallons left in the tank. So it would be an even larger gain with the 87 economy tune (which is a big benefit to some people).
Unfortunately, I should've just got the xcal 2. i was hoping i could keep it in my car and use the gauges and shift light. however, it is pretty big and clunky, and the lcd display does not look like the promotional pictures.
I still might find a way to rig it up in my car. anybody have any ideas on this?
Overall, good purchase. Not necessary for what level I'm at with my car, but I can definitely grow into it.
