tailpipes don't change your emissions, there is zero difference from the muffler outlet to the tips so there is zero change. Everything important occurs before there anyway.

ok while this mega muffler/exhaust thread is going on im ordering my LT's tommorow(finally) then maybe my midpipe either tommorow as well depending on the price im about to find or on my next check anyway i was considering getting the single chamber's and tailpips and a gt bumper simply because i hate the look of pipes sitting out under our bumpers with no cut out anyway should i stick with my two chambers (in which case for now i would probably keep my dumps if i could stand it) with this setup guys (serious responses)

I have turn downs on my sixer with flo pro mufflers. i love the drone at 1500-2000 rpm, basically cruising speed in my town. the sound kinda gets raspy and sounds like a panther or something at the higher rpms (4000-5500). it was the first and only big change i have done on my car so far and i dont regret it.

yeah the good ole county i live in... passing of emissions test is required to plate the car. They stick a sensor probe in the tailpipe. If you don't have tailpipes they won't test you. It really sucks. I could only run dumps on a truck (truck plates=no emission test) or a pre 1974 car i think.
