Default Sluggish Throttle...

The throttle seems a little sluggish... any tips on fixing that? Clean the throttle body?

i'm guessing you already know about the problem with the loose line to the gas pedal.. but besides that i'm not sure.

Yeah I know about the extra slack the pedal has. But when driving my friends v6 it just seems to accelerate quicker where mine hesitates before going when I press the gas....

Change air filter, clean throttle body, and clean MAF sensor with MAF sensor cleaner.

could be dirty plugs. tune up couldnt hurt if you havent had a tune up in a while to change them.

I had a tuneup just a little over a year ago. I doubt I need another one right now. I'll try cleaning the MAF and TB then see what happens...

what everyone else said but also try using seafoam. makes a big difference if it's never been done before. change the oil out also. if you want really responsive throttle, get a tuner/chip.
