Hey everyone,
Im new to this forum and I was just giving a 1985 mustang notchback. It is in rough shape but I do not get my license for about a year, Im only 16yrs old hehe.... But I have always liked mustangs and my family used to have one when I was little.
This '85 mustang needs just about a new front end, it wasnt in an accident but it was pushed backed by another vehicle. My friend was moving it in his yard, and only the bumper got damaged. So this is what I would like to do with this beast -
- New Engine (302 V8 min, 351w preferred)
- 5speed Tranny
- '87-93 Front & Rear bumpers
- 8.8" rear-end axle
- '87-90 interior(dash, seats,etc.)

I was wondering if anyone could send me to a site where it shows how to do these mods,like how to change the front bumper from a '85 to '87, is there anything different from the two or will it just go right on without any problems ?
I will be posting some pics of the car monday night when it is at my house, and just to warn you -- the front end looks really bad, but I have a different front end for it.....

 

hey man the bumper should go on no problem, but i'm not exactly sure, when were the models changed? 87 or 88. When you get all the things you want done let me know i got a 83 gt 5 litre it's pretty much stock right now becuz my dad and i are working on his 65 but plz keep in touch i love how mustang turn from nothing to everything, kind of like my dad's

yes ... u were a lot of help -- I actually have a '82 notchback (sorry for the year mix up) but from 79-86 they were the same body and all ... but I will keep in touch and take pictures of the transformation
