Default Please help! Starting issue...

To anyone who can help me...

I have a 2000 v6 mustang that will crank but will not start. Here is what I have tried;

* No security system issues found - Car cranks, no start.
* Installed new coil pack - left battery terminals off for two hours to reset computer.
* Check fuel cut off switch - seems to be fine.
* No fuses out, all seem to have power through them.

The mustang cranks strong. It does not start. I know that it is usually fuel or spark related however I have tried the basics without success. Thank you for any suggestions! have an awesome day!

Have you checked the starter, spark plugs, the ignition wires, fuel pump, do you get a good voltage readout when you turn it to the on position, there are a million and one different things it could be.

I am a little tipsy right now so I am not thinking straight.

I'll post again later, enen though I am not the greatest thing in the world when it comes to starting issues.

You might also want to try the General tech forum. This isn't necessarily v6 related. Starting problems are very general.

He said the motor cranks strong. Anyways, you using the same key as always? I know if you get a key made and it wasn't made from the dealership, and try it on your car it won't start due to the chip in the key.
