I have purchased through my Ford dealer the FRPP performance package (dual exhausts, CAI) for my '07 convertible and they are installing it tomorrow. I need to put gas in my car before I take it in and I have been unable to find out if I should put 91 or 93 octane in as both are available in my area. I called Ford Racing and they first said 93, then said 91, and didn't seem too sure either time. I asked if the tune that came with it gave me an option and never got an answer. All the web site says is "premium".

Does anyone have this unit and if so, what is the deal with the octane rating? Thanks.

 

your not going to get much from ford retuning the car, if 93 is available put in 93
